Skegness Crew members help to raise funds in Nottingham

A few of the Collection team receive a donation from the Lord Mayor of Nottingham.
Saturday 6th September 2008 saw the Nottinghamshire branch hold their annual flag day.
The team of dedicated volunteers held street collections all over Nottingham City Centre.
The volunteers were joined by the Lord Mayor of Nottingham Councillor Nawaz Khan for a photo shoot outside of the City Hall.
The Nottinghamshire team were joined by Helmsman Lee St Quinton and Crew Amy Cobble, Dressed in suitable attire for the day, the buckets were shook until all volunteers were suitable soaked due to the terrential rain.
The Grand Total of the Flag day is still to be announced, however a big thankyou to all who participated in the day.
Fishing Boat recovered following Engine failure.

The striken vessel in tow by the ILB.
Whilst returning to the station following a service call to the Ingoldmells area, another request for assistance was received from the Coastguard regarding a missing Fishing Boat.
The crew set work and located the fishing boat approximately 2.5 miles from the shore drifting in a south easterly direction, the vessel was taken in tow and delivered back to the boat compound at Jacksons corner.
