Alan Fisher - Lifeboat Operations Manager

The day-to-day running of the station is the responsibility of the Lifeboat Operations Manager (LOM), Alan Fisher. Alan is the the first point of call when the lifeboats are requested to launch by the Coastguard.

Station Committee

The station is administered by a committee chaired by Joel Grunnill. Joel served aboard the Skegness Lifeboat for 45 years until his retirement in 1984. His last 33 years on the crew were served as 2nd Coxswain on board the Anne Allen and, later, the Charles Fred Grantham. When Joel left the crew he became a Deputy Launching Authority for the station and, in 1992, Honorary Secretary.
